Ordering and Payment

You can place an order on our website, or contact us via email for exceptional order requirements. We accept payment by most major credit and debit cards.

www.orsomcheese.co.uk is a secure shopping website which uses Worldpay as its payment gateway, an industry leader in payment technology and security. We are committed to the highest industry standards and to continuous improvement in all aspects of payment processing. Your payments via Worldpay are protected by their stringent terms and conditions.

All card payments are validated and authorised prior to confirmation of your order and its completion. We are not liable for the non-delivery of your goods if your payment is not authorised for any reason.

When you confirm payment, you offer to buy the quantities of goods you selected at the price, delivery cost, inclusive of VAT, as displayed. All orders are subject to this condition.

Once we have received a valid authorisation we will process your order, products will be charged and will appear as Joseph Heler Ltd on your statement.

It is a crime to purchase or attempt to purchase goods with a stolen credit card or with stolen personal details or a false name. We will take appropriate action if we discover any instances of these practices through our website.

All prices for products in invoices are given in GBP sterling at the prices displayed on our website, at the time of your order. We reserve the right to up-date prices on our website from time to time.

If we discover any error in the price of an ordered product, we will contact you and you may confirm the order at the correct price or cancel the product. If we cannot contact you, the product will be cancelled and removed from your order.

If you register to buy from our website, you are responsible for the security and confidentiality of your account name and password and all activity that occurs under them. Please advise us intermediately if you suspect your account details are being used without your authority.

Your Status / Age Restrictions

By placing an order on this website you warrant that you are legally capable of binding contracts. Under the 1964 licencing act it is an offence for any person under 18 years of age, or any person on the behalf of any person under 18 years of age, to buy, or attempt to buy intoxicating liquor.

If our couriers are in any doubt about the age of the recipient they will request some form of ID. In the event that the couriers are not satisfied that the recipient is 18 years old, they are not permitted to leave the products with the recipient.

Product Availability and Substitutions

In the unlikely or unforeseen event of unavailability, orsomcheese.co.uk reserves the right to substitute any products with products of an equal or higher value.

We aim to keep our website as up to date as possible but we reserve the right to make changes to descriptions, contents, prices and delivery processes and prices at any time.

Any props or items shown in images but not listed, do not form any part of the product.

Cancellations and Returns

Returns are only accepted for goods deemed to be in an unsatisfactory condition upon receipt, or for goods mistakenly dispatched. Please inform us immediately upon receipt of any goods in unsatisfactory condition, or incorrectly dispatched.

Depending on the condition of the goods, we may offer a refund or exchange for the full-value of the goods and any proven delivery costs incurred if you return the goods.

Should the purchaser, for any reason, request to cancel an order prior to despatch, the purchaser agrees to refund any loss incurred by Orsom Handmade Cheese.

You are allowed a 7 day 'cooling off' period from the date of delivery. This means that we will refund the total cost to you of the product and the delivery charges provided that your request to cancel complies with the requirements below:

  1. You notify us in writing of your cancellation (letter or email) within 7 working days of delivery.
  2. The goods remain unused and unopened.
  3. There is no fresh food or cheese component in the product.
  4. You or the recipient take reasonable care and retain the goods in satisfactory condition until we arrange collection.

Refunds will be issued upon receipt and inspection of the products in our warehouse by our Customer Care Team.

Please note that we are unable to reimburse the cost of your returning the product to us as we will arrange collection through our own carriers.

Product Complaints

We take any product complaints seriously. In the first instance, you must submit your product complaint in writing to hello@orsomcheese.co.uk. We will aim to respond within one working day at the latest.

We are not legally liable for any third party product issues deemed to be beyond our control.

Intellectual Property Rights and Copyright

All copyright, database rights, trademarks and other intellectual property rights on this website, such as text, graphics, banners and logos, are the sole property of Orsom Handmade Cheese. Any use (including copying, reproduction and transmission) or display of this website without the express written permission of one of our products for purposes other than the viewing of this information or for ordering purposes is strictly prohibited.

Reservation of Title

All goods remain the property of Orsom Handmade Cheese until paid for in full.


Orsom Handmade Cheese's liability is limited to the guarantee of our suppliers.

Consequential Loss

Consequential loss is limited to the cost price of the gifts.


We take reasonable measures to ensure our website is free from malicious attacks, but we offer no warranty that our website, or secure-payment gateway is free from the risk of virus attack.
