How about giving this Melt in the Middle Burger recipe a try – using Winston Handmade Cheddar for a devilishly ORSOM twist on this burger fan favourite.


  • 250g Lean Beef Mince
  • Chopped & fried ½ onion
  • 2-3 TBSP Breadcrumbs
  • 1 Egg Yolk
  • 2 Large cubes of Winston Cheese
  • Brioche Buns
  • Salad & Sauce to serve


  1. Combine the beef mince, breadcrumbs, egg yolk & fried onions and need together well
  2. Shape the mince mixture into two flat patties
  3. Pop a cube of cheese into the centre of the two patties and then build the mince up around the cheese to make sure that the cheese is fully covered
  4. Heat up a grill pan or BBQ and pop the burgers on, flipping regularly until they are cooked through
  5. Serve on top of a griddled brioche bun with salad and sauce
