How about giving this fiery chilli dip recipe a try! Using Hot Phoenix for the ultimate cheesy chilli kick that intensifies with every bite.

This easy quick recipe is perfect for date night, movie night with the family or to serve as an addition to chilli Con Carne for an extra cheesy chilli kick.


  • 200g ORSOM Hot Phoenix Cheese
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 2 tablespoons of flour
  • 250 ml whole milk
  • 1 red chilli and mint to garnish (optional)
  • Nachos to serve


  1. Grate the Orsom Phoenix Cheese into a bowl and reserve.
  2. Add the butter and flour to a saucepan on a medium heat and whisk until formed together.
  3. Next, add the milk to the flour and butter and until thick. Once the mixture is thick enough, it should coat the back of a spoon.
  4. Turn the heat low and add the Orsom Phoenix Cheese one handful at a time to the mixture until all the cheese is melted.
  5. Serve immediately in a bowl and garnish with chilli and mint, add nachos to serve and enjoy!
